Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Viserys
two - iblis x rhae - wanderer

Viserys nudged the rest of the kill away, licking away the few small feathers that still clung around his mouth. He tilted his head at Aurai's further suggestions- it was true, a pack would be much better for them both. They were young still, and as much as he hated to admit it, wandering Moladion had not been good for him at all. He could feel it now, as he finally got to sit and rest, the soreness in his front for overcompensating for a weaker back. And it was true- Asteraia could no longer be a home to them, so long as wolves such as... those... roamed the plains.

"You are right." the pale boy agreed as he finished cleaning himself up from the meal, taking extra care to smooth down his chest fur, something he hadn't had the energy or willpower to do in a long time. "Regrettably, I don't think the mountains would be good for me." Viserys said, casting an angry glance at his hind legs, splayed across the floor of the den. Close to the sky they were, but yet the winters were rough and the terrain rougher. He shook his head. "No, not the mountains. Diveen has fallen into the hands of the angels again, Father was a friend of theirs... and there are no rolling hills, but at least it's flatter." he said, mouth twisting into a wry smile.

He returned the lick by nuzzling her other cheek, a heavy, happy breath falling from his lips. Although his body was still weak, he felt resolution and strength like he hadn't in so long. Viserys followed her to the back of the den, curling up next to her, echoing the gentle rise and fall of her back. He remembered sleeping beside her when they were just pups, and the warmth was similar. The air was cold out there, but inside the den it was just warmth and the sound of gentle breathing.

"You know me," he murmured, the excitement and exertion fading and leaving him quite sleepy. "I am too sensitive for my own good." He yawned and pressed closer to her, his tail giving a few thumps against the ground. Viserys felt safe again, strangely enough, exposed as they were. They would sleep, then, and tomorrow Diveen, and perhaps in the safety of a pack they could get to know each other again.
