Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

He decided it was time for him to try looking on his own as well. There was another reason for him to dare the free lands though. He guessed it was his right… or legacy to follow in his father’s paw steps and try to learn to become the next head healer of Diveen. He learned a lot from him, his father saw fit to it and being Guardian Angel also meant he could help the other animals of the pack too. The ones less cared for and that was his mom’s legacy. It would fill two spots and show how much he cared for both realms of his family. Plus… he was starting to fear the worst for his father…. With his mother having gone looking for him and the winter being more bitter cold than he thought was normal he knew he had to start stepping up, even if it terrified him.

He was gathering herbs now. His father said that there were some that only grew in certain places and since his disappearance a lot of what was in the place known as his ‘apothecary’ was useless or mal-maintained. It was odd to see the cobwebs all over the den he knew his father spent so much time in. Thankfully it seemed as though it hadn’t been touched by anyone else. It had been left alone it seemed untouched except some plants strewn across the floor in an almost hasty manner. He had sniffed them knowing they were a bad plant as his father called them but not of their uses. It was dried up so Ame moved it to the side, not thinking much on why it was in his den before picking up one of his father’s gathering bags and taking off.

This was harder than he expected. He knew Winter was the worst time to gather… well anything. But there were some plants in the crags he knew some could continue to persist. They were protected from the snow from the jutted rocks so he could at least find a little sage or thyme out here, both were useful and they smelled nice too. Otherwise he might have to make a mad round for some herbs in spring to find herbs before females gave birth. He never attended one before but he knew how to help with pain and bleeding. Maybe he could ask his mother to go to help him with his first ones. He wasn’t sure if Achilles would even find him good enough to be a Guardian Angel. It sounded important but he would try. For both his parents sake.

Dropping down into the first crag that had plant matter still clinging on he tore some, but not all of stems off just as his father had taught him. Leaves some to regrow and for any other creatures that need them. He said before leading him onward. Ame… never felt close to Meryl, not like he did his mother but he still loved his father and these memories still burned. He hoped his father was okay. His hope had dwindled but he wanted to continue to try and find something for himself and his father’s memory.
