Perhaps changed most of all out of all of the packs is this place. It was stripped out of its forested home and now instead lays at the edge of an ocean. The vast sparkling eternity of the water lays to the south of the land, while the rest of the land is made of rocky outjuttings. Gone are the trees, and all that remains for greenery are the short shrubs that dot the paths in the rock, and the moss that grows thanks to the spray of the waves. Further toward the shore, barnacles are a plenty, and look to cut the pads of those who slip on the wet surface. These extend out into the water itself, and the tough land has multiple caverns scraped into it, providing ample dens for the wolves that live there. Depending on the tide, however, the lower caverns may flood, and the vicious swirling water may prove to be dangerous as there is a strong undertide ready to pull unsuspecting swimmers to their doom. Even the tide itself is powerful enough to push intruders against one cliff or another. The ocean does provide, however, plenty of food for those who brave the waters - there are many breeds of seals and sea lions, though the males that protect each of these are vicious and territorial. There are also turtles that come ashore to breed and to lay their eggs - both the adults and the eggs themselves can provide sustenance to the wolves. But they must take care - the water is deep enough to allow sharks to come to shore from the depths below. Those unwilling to venture the waves or wet their paws with the moist sand of the shore can find snakes and hares in the rocky outcroppings, but they must beware the Komodo dragon and other monitor lizards that perch upon the shore - they are swift and move in groups, not to mention they carry venom in their bite that causes immense pain, paralysis, and prevents blood clotting. This is not the land for the weak of heart or the weak at all really. This is Uyaraut - ‘The Diamond in the Rough’.

At the call from Scion, I feel my body quivering with anticipation of the training to come. There once was a time when fighting was in my blood. I came to Blossom with an attitude for hunting, living for the feel of life slipping from between my jaws. But then my golden boy came into my life and turned it all upside down. He took my heart and dangled it between his jaws like a token, only to disappear into the mist like a ghost. To make matters worse, when I felt like life was finally getting better and I might be moving on, the golden wolf came back to resuture my damaged heart only to rip it right back out when he disappeared yet again, this time for good. Now years have passed since I've seen my golden knight but his memory lives forever in my heart. He changed me and my personality was never the same after that. I came to Cold Summers because he was here and then I had to find something else to live for and so I pledged my loyalty to this land and this pack.

Raylen was the cord holding me here at first but then Rio took over for a little while and I gave him my loyalty. Then Rio left and pack went through a few alphas before the last odd alpha came in with his...boy toy? Then he left and handed over the pack to Summer and since then, Summer had slowly put life back into the pack lands. I hope to see them thrive under his care. Today is a day for training though and he has put a wolf in charge that I don't yet know and that just won't do. I want to know everyone so today hopefully I can get to know him and some other wolves better and see what Bright Moon is really made of. I make my way to his call at a decent jog, breathing in the perfect air of my home. When I come across the perfume of Nzingha, my tail wags and my lips tug into a smile. I had just met her at the borders with Summer and Darius and now it looks like she wants to take part in training as well. All the better to get to know her as well.

She's a strange one to read, a pup but with so much intelligence. The way she talked to Darius was more like an adult than a pup and the way she looked at me when he told her who I was, well, I don't know what to make of it. So maybe now I can start cultivating a friendship with her and get to know her better. I can hear her charming voice the closer I get, asking Scion what's going on and if she can watch or take part. when she speaks of competition, I can't help but smirk even as I walk out where both can see me. "It's never too early to learn and I have a feeling any competition would have a right to fear you, Nzingha." Giving her a teasing wink, I turn my golden gaze to Scion and dip my head in respect and greeting to him as I take a seat in front of both. "Hi, Scion, I don't believe we've met before. I'm Misty and I'd love to take part in your battle training session. I'm sure there's plenty I can brush up on."
