I can see she really wants to leave, maybe to hunt the wolf down herself, but I do not want to be alone. With a whimper I rise to my paws, mind reeling as I let her look me over, no touching was necessary save maybe the removal of a thorn or two. It was an odd sort of strength that she exuded, one that made me feel stronger just for her closeness, no matter how brief. It was refreshing to feel such a thing, but as it was, it would be short lived and stabbed sharply by shock. I try really hard not to gape, I swear I did, I just never heard anyone talk in the manner she just did.

Mismatched coal and ice eyes stare at her, mouth slightly open to show my shock. The look was quickly followed by a nod of approval. In a strange way, her brash manner of speaking reminded me of my mother, as did the comfort she gave. I was accustomed to steadfastness, and her own calm yet determined demeanor helped me see that I could be just the same. Really, there were two possible outcomes. One was there regardless, I would not trust another stray male. I could be pregnant from the encounter, which in a horrific way was a prayer answered. I could not be pregnant, which would also be alright. This female was correct, I would live. And I would not waste another day beat up and stashed away from my life.

"When can we start? I can fight...but I am not too strong in my body and easily overpowered." If I am to be taught, she needs to know what to teach me, right? I am good at one thing, running. I am a delicate creature, made more for chasing and exhausting my prey. She seems to be delicate as well, but I can see the way her musculature bleeds strength. Her entire body screams it out loud. If she could help me with this wolf hunt, I could at least allow her to pass on her knowledge. I do not want to be in this position again, and perhaps it was Malikye's demeanor coming through, or a mix of us both. I wanted that brown bastard's throat between my jaws.

I would never be the same again, I would be better thanks to this. I would be stronger, better able to care for what ever may result from this. More so, I could protect myself. I could stop this from ever happening to another wolf again. With Viora's help, we could rid the world of one more demon. For now, I just wanted to shed this weakened skin and get on with my life.

But, first, I want a bath.
