News - SUMMER

Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.

Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.

We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.

As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

We laughed at fate and mourned her;

Unlike some wolves she was a creature that held to her promise. For a creature to be constantly hated for so long one would think that she would be incapable of believing in such forms of trust. Most would assume that she thrived on dishonesty and coming up with any loophole to gain the upper hand. Yet she was a creature that believed in honesty, if nothing else, because there was a lot one could learn from a candor wolf. She never hid the fact that she was not a typical wolf that required the flesh of just prey animals. A promise was a promise and she had kept her word. Here and now she was going to retrieve Nakato and she didn’t give a damn if it meant causing the death of another to get what she wanted. Nakato was hers and she would take what was rightfully hers without hesitation. Her pack did not have an alliance or a treaty with other packs. The only type of solid commitment she had was with Majora and his secret brotherhood of Diveen wolves. The yearling had given her valid reason to repay her debt to Isola and her kind. Providing them her home as a place for them to work was such a kind gesture, and the promise that they would help her was an appealing thing. Yet she never thought that they would betray her.

It is good that she has Tobias at her side. With their connection both can feel the unwavering anger that frustration that boiled between them. Jaws parted as a low snarl rumbled within her scarred chest. With Winter here travel was not something she should be doing a lot of. Already her sides were bugling out slightly evidence that she was carrying life within her. Winter had drawn the two together to do as nature intended and soon Moladion would suffer from the hellions she produced. Dark azure eyes narrowed as she watched her soul pace back and forth along the borders keeping himself from crossing the invisible lines. That fragile thread of trust she had with Diveen was slowly breaking and she had it half in mind to just barge through and find her member and leave in the dead of night. Yet the fact she was remaining at the border edge, and not stepping into his lands, did it show that she had an extremely low hope that the possibility of an alliance could be possible. But that hope was fading fast. When Tobias circle around her she would stop him when he was at her front, leaning her head into his shoulder as she growled. Inhaling his scent deeply she rubbed her forehead against his shoulder enjoying the touch and feeding off his own rage. Though this momentary response was shattered when Heartless made her approach.

Cold eyes narrowed as she inhaled the winter’s wind that held Heartless’ scent. Black lips pulled back as the dark fur along her hide bristled and her tail swung quickly in agitation. She knew that scent. That scent was in her land and it was wrapped around Nakato. Dark ears folded back tightly against her skull as a savage canine roar was unleashed as she made two bold steps forward toing the invisible line. The one that had taken what was hers was standing right in front of her, and should Heartless step out of safety, the wolf would have been dead on the spot. The words that had come straight out of her of her mouth was quite an ignorant choice of words. Heartless knew very damn well what she had done and playing the ‘innocent card’ was not going to work for her advantage. Viciously her cold tone spat out to the girl that had dared to take her own, accusing her correctly that she was the culprit.

“You know very well what you have done Heartless. You stole my wolf and she is coming back with me.”

Her tone was not a request. She did not ask for permission to reclaim what was hers. It was a statement. A fact. It would be best if Heartless left her sight because Tick Tock was weighing the consequences on whether or not she should even forget the very idea to promote such an alliance with the Angel pack. She had done nothing to them to deserve such treatment and if this was how they would treat her then she would not have it. As the golden Alpha made his approach she would glare at him quite displeased with him all together. Though her attention on him was limited because she saw out of the corner of her eye something coming. Turning her ebony skull around she watched her bob-tailed member race towards her in such a submissive manner. With a quick step to the side she would allow Nakato the chance to run past her, and just as Nakto was behind her she would step back in place. Her form twisted into a protective stance as her hackles remained lifted high. Nakato was not in Diveen anymore and she would come back safely to Asteraia. A promise was a promise. She promised the girl her loyalty and protection and she had delivered such a promise. She was confident that should Heartless or Achillies make a threatening approach that her counterpart would protect her, and she, would protect Nakto. Now that she was safe behind the two her dark eyes would flash towards Achillies as she venomously spoke to the new Alpha her voice obviously tainted with disappointment and rightful anger.

“That wolf….Heartless….she stole what is ours. I and the other wolves of Asteraia have done nothing to Diveen. Covet went to every single pack, but my own, to inquire an alliance. Should he have offered me such a pathetic thing I would have told him no – I had respect for Isola and thought his pathetic excuse of reasoning to take over Diveen was unjustified. I came to Heyels’ funeral, even when I didn’t have to, and I made a promise to provide sanctuary to Majora and your kind. Yet I am to be treated like this? To have one of my own be taken without reason? One of your wolves came wanting to explain alliances and I had given him my answer…did he tell you exactly what I thought, or did he carelessly misspoke and gave you cause to steal from me? I wanted an alliance, but if this is how I am to be treated I am not so sure I can trust an Angels’ word like I could in the past.”

No one could blame Tick Tock for being as angry as she was. Not only was she far from home and in such a vulnerable state for the protection of her pups, but she felt insulted, blighted, and played for. Majora had sworn that if she provided him safety for himself and the others like him then she would expect loyalty and aide from them. Isola had shown her kindness while she stayed within Diveen being healed after she helped rescue Heyel from the mountain lion. Unlike some wolves she did not hate Diveen or the Angelic pack. Rather she respected them. She had offered assistance to Majora even though not a single Diveen wolf came to her border when their empire fell. Should Covet had come to her border for an alliance she would have shut him down. Even if this was a complete mistake this was not the correct way to form an alliance, or even a treaty, and Achillies would have to help solve this complete blight on Tick Tock.
