Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

EVERLAST - FIVE - NO ANYTHING

Everlast knows in her heart that she is a pitiful creature. She is built like an average wolf and if she had been trained or even tried to learn more, taken more initiative, she wouldn't be where she is. She loathes herself and yet she is what she is. A fool, maybe, but time was beginning to shape her into something altogether different. In this moment she does not feel threatened so much as unsure. Tick Tock has the stance of a warrior, one who was ready to take on the world, and she did it all in an effort to assuage whatever fear that Everlast had. The male was smaller than both of them but he watched them with canny eyes, drinking everything in, and she gravitated towards him merely due to his lack of scent. If he didn't belong anywhere then he was a better option, or so she thinks.

Be a fighter, she thinks, but she cannot make herself leap up and parade before them. Not with the thought that Seline might be out there still, lurking. Tick Tock steps towards her and Everlast holds her ground but just barely, her claws sinking into the soft loam in an outward sign of her desire to scramble away. To get the hell away from the pair. But then an amazing thing happens. She hears tell that Jaidah is no longer ruler over the plains and her pressed ears spike upwards in surprise, her body relaxing in a pose of slack-jawed wonder. "Then that means..." that the reason they left was because Seline did not want to be there. Now a sense of peace floods through her, looking at Tick Tock not in fear but in awe.

Before she finished Fritjof interrupts, congratulating the Queen and offering the rest of his meal to her and she is so hungry she cannot even deny it. She grins at him suddenly, a one-eighty from the previous moment, and grabs what little is left of the meal to settle down and begin gnawing hungrily on the bones and flesh. Each second that ticks by without them trying to stop her, she relaxes, steel eyes glancing up at both of them often. "They kept me captive there." She says suddenly, breaking off from the bones and ragged meat, and watching both wolves to see what they would do. "In Asteraia. Seline. She took me and she killed my pups. I haven't seen her in a while but I ran." The words are flat. "You must be the reason she made us leave there a while back. I won't go back to her den." She turns her gaze to Fritjof, trying to impress the importance of her words, even though the male will have no idea who she is talking about.
