Truly I thought my cousin should have been a little more appreciative of the information I offered. I had to chase down a wolf for that while he had merely sat here and informed me that he knew about Zeus and Covet meeting all along. If he had known then why on earth didn’t he chase them down? Maybe my legs were expendable- my features merely frowning slightly once more as I allowed myself a huff of sorts in response to Achilles own snort- eyes rolling slightly at his words. He had brought Covet here as bait? Maybe I was wrong to believe it was an attempt to put him on trial, however could I not have seen the grand master plan? I think I felt my gaze narrow slightly, features forming a look I am entirely sure is dubious- although maybe comical upon a yearling all the same as I regarded my cousin and Alpha.

“If you knew he was here why didn’t you follow him!? I ran across a damn field Achilles. You could have at least told me.”

I think I managed to huff again, like a child having a bit of a tantrum and maybe I was. Surely I could be afforded a momentary slip in my character. I was only a year old after all, surely I can be forgiven this one moment, ears laying back slightly in discontent- the very image of a child in that moment as my tail flicked in ready disdain. Alright, I’ll admit it, maybe I don’t like being outsmarted by anyone. It’s only because he’s older I’m sure. Maybe he is King, but he didn’t create a group of assassins at one or attempt to revolutionize the world did he? I still have something over him. A little rivalry always was rather healthy I suppose. If this was the game he wanted to play however- then so be it. Maybe I could play it back now that I was over my little moment- attempting a look of nonchalance now, shoulders rolling in a shrug at his joke about my snoozing in my den.

“Very well then Cousin, if you are determined to insult my intelligence and my work then I wont offer you the rest of the information. I will let you find it out for yourself since you are so aware of everything. I shall return to sleeping.”

One eye simply lifted, daring him to say anything else, my form lifting to stand as if I was very near on the verge of leaving and taking my information with me. At least he seemed a little surprised about Guardian- one point in my favour, my form halting once more, my threat to leave surely evidently clear as I simply drew out the moment- entirely because I could and because really I rather like being the one everyone else is waiting on to speak. I lifted one paw, examining it for no real reason, merely leaving Achilles to stare toward me in expectant silence. Making him wait as I returned my paw to the earth before I managed a long and drawn out sigh as another simper played teasingly upon my lips.

“Since you waited so nicely maybe I can tell you what I know.”

It was a tease, loose and light, a payback of sorts for his own.

“Zeus told me that he is after a wolf called Fox and another, Vauge, he claims they are both Angels in Diveen and that he himself holds some sort of important information that Fox wants- I assume at this point that is Amir, though why he is called Fox I don’t know. He says Amir won’t kill him because he has information on Amir’s father and Amir desires to know it. He claims Fox and Vague ruined his life and that he plans to come for them- else ruin their lives one by one, which is surely where the attack on them and Aviias came from. He also believes himself to be some sort of weather anomaly and continued to refer to himself as the thunder who was going to start a storm or something equally as awe inspiring. He told me he is going to the rocks, in other words, the grotto. You are likely to find him there. Is that good enough for you now cousin? Or should I simply go back to sleep, hmm?”

Oh I knew it was good, my lips pulled up into a grin once more. There was no guarantee Zeus would go to the rocks, even if he has said it so, plans change, yet they were his own words and I simply repeated them to Achilles now- allowing him to formulate whatever plan he chose.

“If you want to take him out of the picture cousin, I recommend you send an assassin to do it- you need not be connected if you understand my meaning. As for myself I’d rather like that promotion now, I did give you the picture after all. Unless you’d rather I found more secrets for you? On another note however, your hair is especially white today. Heyel would have liked that.”
