Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Those who can't sacrifice anything, can never change anything

These fields were of no use to him.

He had been searching for hours trying to see if there were any signs of her hear. The only place he had scented his sister had been in the Grotto and even that trail went dead at the first stream. Emil was losing hope, but he didn’t want to go home, not yet. He still had so much to do out here and try to find something that made it all worth it. This open area just didn’t seem like a place where someone hiding, or stolen, would be. Too open, not enough places to hide or be hidden… how was it possible for him to just not be able to find her! He was frustrated with his own inadequacies to find her. He wasn’t alone though, Atlas too, last he had heard, hadn’t seen hide nor fur of her either. Both scary and relieving at the same time.

He knew his father wanted him home, he was certain since he got a pack that he would be having a talk about how he was heir and a whole slew of things he didn’t want to be right now. He knew his parents trusted him, his grandmother too put her faith in him that he could be great and prove that he would be a good King if he needed to be. But he was the reluctant prince he supposed, not really desiring to take a spot on the throne. He wanted to, at least, carve his own seat into greatness by, he didn’t know, helping others or slaying an evil wolf… something to make him more than just “king of Diveen”. That wasn’t greatness to him, and he wondered if that was what he father thought now. Of course Emil thought the world of his father, but he hadn’t done much to truly earn the title of being a great king. It was difficult to think about and admit but there was only so much the son of Achilles could do.

For now he would do his best to put his assassin training to use, to blend to the shadows and do his best to stay out of Diveen until he found something he could use. It was then that he spotted the sooty blonde female racing through the snow as if she had been chased by something horrible. He didn’t see anything and the look of intensity on her face told him she was simply running.

With a single bound the golden boy was off after her, his long legs and streamlined form making it easy to begin closing the distance between them. He circled around and didn’t cut her off but presented himself into her path to slow her and slowed down himself once she had begun to as well. His russet head twisted around his body following right behind to face her. He didn’t look friendly or aggressive, really more on the neutral side of things.

”Letting lose some energy?” He asked wondering if that was an appropriate start to a conversation. He knew by her scent she wasn’t from around here and maybe that was just another step he needed to have in order to get some more leads on his sister.
