You have the idea of pre-disposition and being more or less genetically set up for particular traits to shine through in some situations. You can't really fight chemical balances, bloodlines, mental illnesses, instincts or predisposed personality traits. (Nature)

BUT! You can let her situations and experiences also help define her and let some of these predispositions mold and shape her into who she/you want her to become. Or let it happen naturally. Play her as someone who is going to be molded by her experiences. She COULD be incredibly ambitious considering the majority of her bloodline are alphas or attempted alphas. But, every time she tried to rise up or show some attitude she got beaten to a bloody pulp and now has to contend with the desire to be more than she is, but the fear of getting killed if she tries. She could discover that she likes play more than death and killing and have to deal with the conflict of being expected to do more, but not having the right goals in mind. Someone close to her could be grievously injured and she sets out to use her ambition to completely destroy them and everything they stand for. Since she is (or believes she is...?) a goddess she could quest to try to find her way back to her realm and get a complex because she is unable to? Or be trying to find a way to bring other wolves back into a faith or religion that goes back to worshiping her and similar gods? (Nurture)

She is still a year old? She has a lot of time to develop and let the game(s) develop her. Maybe pick a few traits and throw her into a lot of different situations and see how she reacts. Don't force her and let her tell you who she is through the things that happen to her. :)
