I took the plunge and downloaded Windows 10, carefully rejecting the aspects that they claimed were potential security risks. It took about two hours in all and I am delighted with the thing. The only problem was that it refused to recognise the scan application of an HP printer (it printed fine). After trying all the suggestions on the HP website and Internet, I simply uninstalled the printer and turned everything off. When I switched on again, the printer, with scanner, automatically installed itself. This was all a couple of weeks ago and there have been no other hitches. Replies: There have been no replies.
