“I’m Kannon.” His lyrics rumbled from the depths of his chest. His head shook back and forth almost in a constant motion, making Nova wonder if there was something wrong, but he continued to speak with a warm tone. “Oh, no, it’s never too early, my dear. If I was a shark, wouldn’t I have been more, what’s the word… forceful. I probably would’ve dragged you off by now.” Any of his words should have been her sign to go, to run and never look back. But here she was, standing and admiring her shark. His laughter made her smirk more, and the smile was ensnaring. She stared into his blue pools trying to figure out what he was thinking, but his smooth lyrics pulled her back into reality.

“So what do you say we finally get out of here? Or are you going to toy with me a bit more before we go?” Kannon’s lyrics were laced with laughter and flirtatious connotations. Nova winked at him, “No Kannon, let us head onwards. But where is onwards, my dear?” She smiled kindly waiting for Kannon to lead her to wherever they would begin their chapter of life.
