Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

I Want a Flood; I Want an Ocean, to Wash my Confusion Clean

As the snow colored brute climbed higher up the rocky cliffs, he was not expecting to run into any other vargs. Not many traveled up to these areas, as it was often dangerous. But some that wanted a bit of excitement and adventure would enjoy it. Aimery was still not sure what had brought him up here, but he had nothing better to do and so he found himself going higher and higher up the slopes. There were some areas with a bit of grass and a little more standing room, but none of them appealed to the lupine, so he continued moving upwards. His paws grew bolder and more confident as he went, adrenaline coursing through him as he looked down to the ground that was getting further and further away from him.

But then the brute noticed another varg, one that was particularly close to a ledge. He paused for a moment, his green orbs watching her curiously when he saw her taking a step off. Instinct kicked in as he yelled and leapt at her, grabbing her scruff and pulling her away from the dangerous ledge that surely would kill her if she had fallen. The femme began to scream at him to let her go, and once they were a safe distance from the danger he did, panting from the adrenaline that was coursing through his veins. Aimery then demanded to know what she was doing, what she was thinking getting in such a dangerous situation. The thought that she may have done it on purpose did not cross his mind. Her orbs met his own, confusion shining in them at his words. “You really don’t see anything wrong with me? If so, you are the very first wolf who doesn’t notice what I’m missing when they first see me.”

Now it was Aimery’s turn to look at her confused. There was nothing wrong with her. At her words though he examined her more closely, finally noticing that she was missing a limb. Could that be what she was talking about? He had not even noticed at first, only seeing a femme that was in dangerous. A pretty femme for that matter with a darkly colored coat. He saw nothing wrong with her and didn’t understand why she thought there was something wrong with her. But if others had made her feel inadequate because of her missing limb then he could understand why she felt that way, though he saw no issue with it. He did know some lupines that would see an issue with it, some of them in his pack even. The wolves of Abendrot were cruel and nor forgiving, always want the best warriors and killers in the pack, and that type might not accept one like this femme. It was reasons like this that made Aimery feel like he did not belong in the pack he had been brought to. ”I was more concerned for your safety when I saw you, I honestly didn’t even notice your missing limb. But that doesn’t mean somethings wrong with you, I don’t see anything wrong with that.” He paused for a moment, sitting on the ground and wrapping his thick tail around his paws, introducing himself to her. ”I’m Aimery by the way. I hope I didn’t hurt you when I grabbed you, I’m sorry if I did.” Green orbs looked at her apologetically, hoping that she was not angry with him.
