Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I am smaller than most, this is true, but it does not subtract from my strengths. Bending to snap at his face as I sit, he pulls away from me and leaves me with only a mouthful of soft, plushy fur. This is only to be expected, experiences with my siblings allowing me to know enough to put my front paws firmly in the shifting, white sands of my childhood.

My lips raise in a playful dare as I watch him, cool glaciers shining brightly in the sunlight that beams down and heats my blood further. My black flag raises and he lunges at me once more. Perhaps he does not expect me to move with his motions and onto my back, I do not mind fighting from here though it does help kick up adrenaline so I can better ignore the scrapes and small cuts on my leg from his fangs. A hissing of sorts comes from me, my chest vibrating with the effort to growl though nothing more than a huff of air is released. It makes me sound more like a snake, or perhaps even the hissing of wood in a fire right before it snaps.

I bring my head down toward my chest, leaning up and grabbing at his neck. I would not pierce the skin, but if he jerked away from me as he had last time he would get cut up. All four of my legs push up, hidden strength coming in to play to no doubt astonish and impress my alpha as I aim to make him either give me his throat or back away. I will not truly harm him, of course, but I do want to make it known that I can handle my own even when on the receiving end of things. I can turn tides just as fast as my childhood home, and take names while doing so.

Should he back off as I intend, I will follow him, swiftly gaining my paws to stand and wait his next attack should it come. There is no doubt I have proven enough in just a few short moves, I know what to do in a scrap. Young, yes, but I am fierce. A deep rooted loyalty to Glorall runs in my veins, it raised me, I have seen the rise and fall of Tesseract, and now Eden. I protect all who are within the borders and I search for new members if need be. Here lately they have been coming to us, but I digress.

I would be all Glorall needed me to be, I simply had to prove to the wolf at her helm that I could do such. Test me, Eden, I will only exceed your expectations.
