Nakato
nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky |
The invitation to call the alpha ‘Mistress’ was accepted and Nakato wasted no time in using it. Though she had been given permission to use it all the time, the druid felt it was be rude to still use it with other wolves around so it would only be used when speaking in private with the leader. Their conversation on aura colors continues and the bob-tailed one smiles again, thinking about her own color. ”I am blue, like the sky. It is a color that can often change from light to dark. It is a carefree color and one that is used to revision and accepts it. As for a druid, it is really nothing more than a title. It is given to those chosen to become healers. Although, I heard that there was a select few who also chose to follow it like a religion. As for me, it is simply what I like to identify myself as.” The two women walked side by side through the snow packed land, the newest member following her leader. The came upon a small valley with a frozen river and a few trees voided of their leaves. It was a lovely sight and one that made Nakato gasp in joy. This pack didn’t seem to have many wolves and she couldn’t understand why. It was the perfect place for a family of wolves to dwell in comfort and peace. Perhaps it had to do with the small detail of how some of the wolves chose to live. But to each their own, right? Why would that stop anyone from living here? Shrugging the though from her mind, Nakato returned her attention to the Monster speaking beside her. The situation was more dire than the healer-to-be thought. Tick Tock was the only pregnant female living within Asteria! This took Nakato by surprise and she didn’t keep the shock from her features. A pack was nothing without the youth. They were the future and it was through them that the family would grow and the borders would strengthen. Things would be hard the following years if the ranks did not grow. Surely, Mistress knew this so the subordinate did not speak her thoughts, thinking it may anger the alpha to know of the weakness in the pack. Instead, Nakato nodded her head in understanding about her service offer. ”Some females do not like others to be present when the young ones are born. This is no uncommon and I will not enter should you not wish me to. I may come baring gifts for the king, should he wish. I will heed your warning about him and run if I sense any danger from his jaws.” Then she mentioned a rank, a Frankenstein, and the healer felt her ears prick up. Her small tail wiggled uselessly as Tick Tock mentioned how she would make a great top healer. ”It would be a great honor to be your… Frankenstein, Mistress.” The two walked further and the blue eyed dame couldn’t stop herself from asking. ”Your… I mean, Mistress. Might I ask, where are you taking us? We seem to be heading in a certain direction rather than just wandering aimlessly.” |
