Whimsy lights the gathered tinder. Whether there was destiny or not she doubted it kept track of the little stuff. But if it did not dictate that stuff, how could influence or predetermine the larger stuff? Perhaps Calvin was right, they all just did the best they could bobbling about on a random path. It was just sort of a depressing thought. Considering how many Gods there seemed to be, they ought to be able to work out something, right? She looked at Calvin, who even on the rock looked ready to fall over. It is probably not a good time to continue a philosophy discussion on why destiny might have chosen him over another soul, since it would shortly become quite one-sided.

With enough sticks to toss one on every once in a while to keep the small blaze going she helps Calvin off the rock towards the fire, staggering a bit under the weight but managing. She settles down in the dirt next to him, staying close for warmth, though the alcohol pours off his breath in almost enough quantity to get her drunk off the fumes. "Eh, it was a thought." And she does not say anything more, about fate, or anything. Mostly she watches the fire, figuring Calvin will be out soon, and then they can continue their conversation at a later date.

The fire crackles, sending sparks up into the night. Whimsy draws a circle with her forefinger in the dirt, thinking. Would it be better, if there was some master plan? Or worse? Like a jail sentence from birth? But even though she did not drink, it is late and she is tired. It is not worth worrying about now, on such a lovely night, with stars and friends.
