He is pleased to find that he will not be kept wondering of such things for very long as his auds twitch to capture the notes of the alpha’s returning song. Ares eagerly awaits her arrival to his stagnant place among the hills as a small wave of his tail indicates his pleasure in knowing that she is on her way.

Perhaps it was just sheer luck, but the alpha did not take very long at all to reach him from whatever depths of the pack she had moved from, as her monochrome form was seen rising over the hillock within a short time. Immediately he feels drawn to her in a strange sense, although he initially blames it on the contagious energy that she exerts as she approaches him. His ears lay back slightly in submission as his tassel sways gently at his haunches upon her arrival.

His own nose twitched lightly as the mountain breeze carried her scent toward him and that pang of familiarity hits him once again. He is aware that he does not personally know this wolf but perhaps there is a reason why he is feeling such a way toward a complete stranger. Her voice is smooth like honey and inviting in its own right, but it is her distinct words that nearly have him drawing aback. He is eager to question her and yet allows her to ask of the reason why he had come to the mountains before speaking.

”Mountainborn. Of Solevion??” he finally is able to blurt out, entirely unapologetic of the excited emotions he displays as his banner wags more. ”You are the reason I have come, m’lady! I have been told stories of Solevion ever since I was a mere pup and now I finally get to come home.” he gushes information that she would likely not understand, but he is in complete awe that he had actually stumbled upon one of his own bloodline.
