Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

Don’t take me for n a i v e The onyx-ivory boy stared at her his maw opening to let out a silent sigh, he seemed like a lovesick puppy. But Cheyanna only smiled, he was handsome enough to make his puppyish act seem like genuine interest. Or maybe it was his genuine care that was coming across as puppyish love, but either way Cheyanna appreciated his sweet words. “It is a pleasure to meet you, Madame Cheyanna.” His lyrics were a sweet melody to Cheyanna’s audits, she had not heard such sweet commentary since… Her frothy green portals looked to the ground as she fought to control herself. The memory of her former lover was a blight in her past, and she preferred not to think of him. His snarling voice echoed through her head and she closed her lids tightly fighting away his illusory figure. Cheyanna regained her composure and looked back to Arion, a sweet smile encompassing her features once again. His lyrics reminding Cheyanna of her previous train of thought, “After many seasons of searching…. I finally decided to start searching for what I really needed to find. It’s funny, that my name is so close to that of the guiding stars, but I haven’t a clue where I am…. Unless, of course, you are willing to help me find a way…?” His pup-like behavior was spread across his features as he smiled making Cheyanna giggle quietly. She tried to stifle her laughter, but his golden green portals seemed to beg at her with young spirit and hope, making her all the more happy to oblige. “I wish I could offer guidance to your quest, but I unfortunately have no home to return to.” A certain sadness remained in Chey’s sea pools as she looked out into the expanse below the cliff edge. She herself did not know the hope that she had intended to fill on her journey. She had only thought to escape her past life, and the cool breeze and treacherous cliffs seemed to clear away all past memories. “I have been wandering these woods alone. In search of what, I do not know… But I hope to find one soon, as I presume you hope to also?” Cheyanna looked back to her white speckled companion and smiled. She saw no harm in his company and though love was far from her thoughts, she hoped to find a traveling partner. She wanted to traverse the woods in search of a new home, but she pined for the company of someone like Arion. His bubbly nature and optimistic perception made Chey believe there was a good within the world, and even hope to see that love could exist again. Cheyanna twitched her ears waiting for Arion’s laughter laced lyrics, in hopes that she might have found a new partner. Maybe for life. |
