Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

sing the song with the heart of the people

There is a hope that things might turn out for the better for them in this place, with fate having taken the reins. While Taviora was a splendid place and Natu did love the mountains, the sea was a fetching place too. It was the birthplace of some of her family and while she was disappointed to know that they were not about it was always a possibility they would come back. Besides, they had seen something here, although mainly in the reign of Tesseract, and Natu couldn't help her insatiable curiosity. Eden was a creature very vague, one who clearly did not like the idea of another warning him for he sneers at Fenrir and Natu's eyes sharpen, her face turns into something like icy, warning him in a very quiet manner against pursuing complaints against her mate. She was here without fuss and without preamble, accepting his terms with ease, but this was one term she would not let falter. Fenrir would not ever leave her again if she could help it and she knew that he would fight to the death, if necessary, to make it so.

He is admittedly worried and that was the right of a mate. He protected her zealously and she would do the same for him, even if she did not outright say anything to Eden. The King was young and brash but there is a cunning in his eyes and if he is careful and meticulous, he could quite possibly grow to be a legend. "We each perceive things differently, do we not?" She answers his question softly, deflecting it even if it was meant to rile up her obsidian mate. "Knowledge and stories would do us no good if there were not multiple points of view."

And then the conversation shifts back to her with his own sort of grinning expression and when he talks she is aware that he desires her company not for the need of more bodies, but for the need of information. Of a mind who has picked up details and facets of truth here and there, and her own eyes are cunning in return upon him. "Without the fly, the spider does not exist, for it cannot eat it's own web. Still, this spider is here and your web seems an intriguing one. I sense that I am here for a purpose, King Eden, or is it merely new members you seek?"
