It is a wonder that she makes it all the way to the caves. Her dark legs are feeling like taffy by the time she makes it here. Her desire to simply lay into the ground and rub all over it was strong, and yet the drive to show the white one, to deliver him to the truth of the universe and the mind...it was even stronger. No one had dared to follow her. No one had dared to dive into the unknown and access their own inner beings in a way so mysterious. Phaedra never questioned these things. She encountered it but as a young, young up, and her mind was forever changed. She is the Altered Angel, one so very much removed from her family's general beliefs. She could have fought for the throne, attempted to be Queen and yet such a path was never laid out for her. The True Angel sent her to a place of self-realization, and path that she is tempting the snow-wolf upon, even if he only treads upon it with her for a little while.
When she sees the dark opening of the caves among the coming night, she cannot help but give a hum of excitement. She bites her lip as she turns to him again at the mouth of the cave. She breaths in and breaths out, her tongue gently licking her lips as she attempts to gather her words- words so very hard to gather right now.
"Here- over here, they hide, they hide...we must use our noses...our noses, they smell, they absorb, they direct us, if we just listen," she says with paused speech. She flings her head back to the caves, stepping forward without hesitation. Her nose is glued to the ground, and there is a moment that she falls to the ground completely, in a purposeful manner, as to rub herself upon the ground in a growl of pleasure. She ends up pushing herself along the ground, until she comes to a damp spot, where minimal sunlight would come if it were indeed day, and where the mushrooms do indeed grow. She sticks her nose to it in the little crevasse in which they grow. She giggles as she flops back on her belly, her head whirling back to the snow wolf.
"Melt with me- come, come, just a taste, and then we can be as one," she says, her head falling back to the ground, choosing to sit and stare at the mushrooms as she awaits for him to consume them. She knows she has a few more hours until the effects will wear off, and that if he consumes them now, there will be a time in which they can traverse this world of the mind together. She watches, the mushrooms growing large and smaller, as if they are breathing in her own mind, and she can only breath with them with a sigh hanging on her tongue.
