It entertained her - she could not lie about that. His reactions were most unusual and certainly like nothing she had experienced before. Then again, her exposure to others had been rather limited as it were. Since the day in the fields with her mother, she had done her best to avoid others or at least to avoid entering situations with them. Even having to had dealt with Covet's coming to Diveen had made every inch of her uneasy, particularly when she had witnessed the gruesome nature of his injuries. Never had she imagined an encounter with another wolf to be so... well, easy. She had even laughed. She felt amused and surprisingly safe. That alone made her curious and, if anything, a little nervous about not feeling nervous.
As he began to speak, she used the opportunity to begin sliding out of her hiding place. She had always had a natural grace and her slight build made it all the easier to twist and twirl so that she broke free of the shadows. Slowly, she allowed the light to bask her, illuminating the sleek nature of her dark fur. Now, she had come to stand a little closer, stretching out her legs as she allowed her eyes to roam to his once more. Rollo? She tested the word on her tongue for a moment - it felt right, natural, as if it had been a word she had always known. It was a curious thing, and yet she could not help but give in to another small grin.
"And where are you from, Rollo?"
It only felt right to pry - just a little, of course. Internally, she desired to know even more than the simple formalities and yet, she restrained herself for the time being. Instead, she took a cautious step towards him, his forequarters lowered down to a level more akin to her own. Slowly, she reached out with her muzzle, breathing in his scent as her nose hovered inches from his, her eyes fixated on his. They'd never met before, that she could now be certain of, and yet it felt wholly okay.
"I'm Nineveh, from Diveen."
She spoke with a matter-of-fact tone and a broad grin before she suddenly leaped back, her own forequarters plunging down into a bow similar to his own. Whatever nerves had been plaguing her had taken their leave for the time being and for once, she felt like enjoying the company of another. It was... surprisingly pleasant. She'd never expected a short visit to the crags might bring some new part of her out of her shell.
