Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

::Make It Rain::

He wasn’t sure what he was doing. He found the plants but beyond that he hadn’t had much practice in the healing arts. Actual practice at least. He knows what to use on what, what each plant did but beyond that it was really just basics. He liked doing what his mom did more, and sometimes they did slip herbs into the plants of the animals to give them more strength but other than that he wasn’t sure if it all still applied to his kind. Really he had a hard time talking to other wolves. He could be brave and bold but only when something dire was going on or he was helping another small animal. Spring was a busy season for all creatures after all, including the other animals of Moladion and sometimes they needed help just like their kind. At least that was how his mother put it. Balance had to be kept and that was how his mother taught him. Don’t take more from the land than you needed or held the other animals may suffer too. This world wasn’t just them after all and his mother did well to teach him that. It was why some wolves died and some survived. It was why some hunts even failed. It was a cruel world, but he wanted to make sure it was at least kind to those that managed to survive.

A familiar scent brushed him then, and he recalled the boy he had help a little under a year ago. He didn’t expect the russet-brown boy to come crashing towards him, the last thing Ame knew before flinching into a duck was the clicking of stones on one another before Halcyon nearly hit him sliding into a play bow. ”Hal, you are okay, my momma was worried when you wandered off after you felt better.” He said his tail giving a few waves though he wouldn’t leave the rest of his questions unanswered. After his more exuberant greeting Ame’s ears tipped back against his head looking a bit sad and somewhat sheepish.

”Things haven’t been good since even before the fall of the pack… we are home now but Dad has been missing for a long time. I am trying to fill his place in the pack by finding herbs, but I don’t think I am good enough… I know what they do, but not how to use them. I just… want father to come home. Momma is worried sick and Yuki stayed in Spriane while I am home it doesn’t feel like home I guess. …” He trailed off surprised at himself and a bit embarrassed for having spilled all of that out when Halcyon lost his whole family too.

”I’m sorry…. Where have you been, you look healthy and you smell… weird.” The swamps always smelled funny to Ame, but he didn’t attribute the scent right away to the fact Hal had been staying there. Halcyon was Ame’s only friend. Sure those Angel boys helped him but they weren’t really friends right? Halcyon stayed with him and was nice to him an could talk to him, that’s what he thought a friend was. In a way the other young, smaller boy gave Ame some confidence or at least allowed him to open up more than usual.
