Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Fritjof feels his hackles rise in response to the female's reaction. Despite his size his first instinct is to tell her its a free world, he did what he wanted. But he forces his rising annoyance down. The defensiveness of the raised hackles comes from the fact she is circling him, when he had given her little cause. He had met other Moladion wolves when out, and none had responded like this before. He resists the urge to form a snarl, and swallows that reaction. "I wanted to introduce myself. Say hello." There really had been no other motivation than curiosity in his actions. Perhaps wondering if she was a messenger or running from something.

But if she is going to be rude, he really has no stomach to deal with soothing a beast not already on his agenda. "Well, I shall leave. You've lost your entertainment value." With that he turns away from her, pretending she is not circling, and starts a steady walk back towards the woods. Female wolves could be so weird, he decided. Fritjof is having trouble understanding what good they ever are, but quickly comes to the conclusion he is being overly judgmenta. Look at Shiloh. Even Tick Tock (technically a pack enemy) had been kind to him, when he had been wandering alone, first time within this strange land.

Whether the girl learns to make friends, or at least not make enemies, is no quarrel of his. His yellow eyes glance back over his stiff shoulder, black guard hairs settling back into place over tawny base as hackles lower. "Luck in your travels." You'll need it he thinks, uttering it as a common courtesy phrase he would give to any stranger. Perhaps he should think twice about approaching strangers, if they are going to be so volatile upon reaction.
