It is quite clear that he managed to piss her off. Luk felt his tail tuck under slightly and his ears shifted as she turned to glare at him. He took a step back as if preparing for something else. Something the pup was still learning was to have the confidence to fight when the time called for it. He wasn’t sure if this was that time but should it result into anything further than a bit of a wordy scuffle he would try to be ready. ”I didn’t mean to upset you. I just meant that there was free food over yonder. Most wolves would jump at the opportunity to eat without having to spend the energy to catch it.” he said matter of factly. He hadn’t caught it before but now but there was a strange scent coming off of her. He realized suddenly that she had a few bite marks that were just starting to heal. Was she sick? He remembered when he had been in a fight with a badger and he hadn’t gone to a healer for a long time. But Zeteri had found out after he had become violently ill from infection. Did this stranger need a healer? ”You alright, lady? Were you in a fight recently or something? Look if you need any help I’m sure there’s a healer in my pack who can tend to your wounds.” He waited quietly, wondering what she would do. It was clear she was temperamental. If she had reacted in such a way to his invitation of food, he could only wonder what she would do at his invite to a healer in a pack. |
