OOC

The place for a little bit of everything!
The OOC board is, well, multi-purpose! Members can post freely here and the majority of site-related content will be posted here as 'announcements,' while general chatting goodness is encouraged to take place over on our Discord server.

Plot-trackers and to-do lists can also be posted here. Events such as "Quarterly Highlight" nominations and voting, site-wide plots, Casanova nominations and site-wide changes (such as a rule update) will also be posted here. You may use the 'key' below to colour-code your posts!

I'm still pretty new here and haven't really had a lot of personal experience, but I've been reading various OOC posts.

I can tell you a story when one of my characters lost spectacularly, I'm not even going to mention what the final score was. Is my character pissed? Hell yeah! Am I pissed? Nope! I was incredibly excited by the opportunity to develop this loss into her character.

Yes, I was sad I lost. No one is 'happy' when they lose. But I would never let it ruin my relationship with the person I was posting with, nor with the judges. As a general rule I trust the players I post with and trust judges/staff to be non-bias just as I would hope that they would trust me.

Remember, we are all capable of playing really dirty (we are all good enough writers we could probably do it really well actually). But why risk your relationship with other players, why risk your characters, why risk your plots, plans, ideas, and creativity over petty negativity that has nothing to do with what you are having for breakfast tomorrow morning? And, would you like to have whatever you are about to do/say/accuse someone else of doing returned onto you?

My two cents! From a little bit of the outside looking in. :)

Thank you Fate!
