She dreamed of paradise

Carisa's eyes moved from Orhan to Koray every few seconds, unsure on who was going to speak first and she didn't want to miss a thing. When her son steps forward she focuses her attention on him, nodding at his word before her eyes lift to catch what Orhan was saying. Questions, hm?. She was going to question Koray about these questions but the boy had turned away from her, his focus on his father. Carisa couldn't see what was said so her focus went back to Orhan, watching his lips as he spoke back to their son. The appy mare shifted uncomfortably where she stood; she had never liked the idea of scolding, her own mother had done enough of that when trying to teach her deaf child. So far Koray had been perfect in her eyes and she had no need to scold him, though now it seemed that he was starting to act out like all young horses did. She breathes out a sigh after breaking her gaze from Orhan's and moves to step forward along her son, brushing her nose against a pale side.
Carisa knew she would never be the serious sort of parent, but she could try at least. "It's alright my little one," she softly croons in a warm tone, well she hopes that was how she sounded. It was quite difficult to think of how she wanted herself to sound like and be unable to hear her voice herself to see if she had done right. So far she felt like she was doing great as no one had yet to correct her. "Would you like to go to the beach for a while Koray? I'd love to see something other than the oasis for a while and I'm sure your father could use a little break as well, " she smiles down at him and then gives Orhan a curious yet pleading look. It was true, she did want to get out and about more but was far too afraid to venture out alone with Koray so far from the herd; not that she'd admit that anyone.
