simple yet experimental.
There were signs of commotion on the horizon that were mingled with the tells of a coming storm. Thorns twitched as she looked yonder to the soft rolling dunes, winds bringing the scents of blood. She thought to make way, to see what troubled her newfound home. Tallis lay in the sands nearby while Nesrin took to eating some of the humble offerings of the oasis. Just as she had it in her to investigate the matter she saw little Ghostwood approaching and now the buckskinned desert born was indeed concerned. She saw to the child and made sure the pair of fillies were left under the watchful eye of a fellow herd mare. At this she moved to the distance from which Ghost had come, eyes catching glimpse of Ava and a stranger…a stallion of black and white. The pair seemed to be conversing, though even as she neared the tension in Ava was apparent.
"You there…you dare trouble my sister? Who are you and what is your business here?" The sand hued beauty stopped beside Ava, though she stepped forth a bit with her shoulder brushing the other mare gently. Though they had only known each other a short time, this was the way of her kindred. The nomadic tribes of the desert were wandering stars, but they knew how to stand up for themselves and their own. There was clear anger in the mare's eyes, tamed by a matured discipline which her mother had instilled in her though her words hinted her distaste of what the black and white was doing to Ava.
