Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

As soon as she left the ground, beginning to soar through the air, she saw a flash of movement from behind the coney, and she knew immediately that her mid-day meal was going to be delayed. The two vargs collided in the air and briefly Halina's dark pools followed the fleeing hare before locking upon the femme she had hit. The femme who had gotten in her way and prevented her from catching her prey. A growl started to rumble from her opponent and Halina's own chest began to thunder. Her limbs got beneath her and pushed her away from the ground and the russeted femme, leaping away. What the hell... Though her originally motion was to put her back in position for attack - this time attacking the varg opposite her instead of the rabbit - she relaxed immediately as she heard the voice, her auds perking forward as she recognized the lyrics. Why hello Halina. I see you could not keep yourself away from me.

Halina let loose an uncharacteristic giggle, raising her azures to meet Ygritte, who stood across from her. Her backward motion changed and her limbs instead pushed her forward, leaping at the femme. She landed just short of the ess but continued toward her, rubbing her body down the length of Ygritte's own. "What can I say? I found myself having uncontrollable hunger to run into you." Her tail flicked away from the femme and Halina swung around sharply, her gaze matching Ygritte's. "Now that my meal is gone, I am even hungrier. You look as delicious as always, Ygritte, and while I would enjoy eating you that would be jumping the gun a bit I think. Best not to mix up my yearnings with my appetite."

Most vargs would have mixed emotions upon running into another that they had had a romantic connection with that had fizzled out. But Halina and Ygritte had not exactly fizzled out... life had simply gotten in the way and they had not run into each other again. Getting poisoned and almost dying tended to get in the way of social life. Perhaps it had not been meant to be at that time, but now Halina not only belonged to a pack but was well settled within its hierarchy and had pups beneath her. She had healed from Draven's attack as much as she ever would, with only a nasty scar on her front paw and the slightest of limps to show for it externally. Nothing could keep her now from pursuing a romantic relationship and finally fulfilling her life goals... from perfecting her life. And Halina found herself just as attracted to the femme as she ever had been.

Briefly, a moment of vanity ran through her and she hated the scar that now marred her flesh, the limp that scarred her stride. But then she remembered that her face was also marked, and just what those marks meant. Survival. Strength. Worth. Her limp hardly affected her motion, merely a pain she had to ignore and push through, and the scar was instead decoration and adornment. Something to be proud of - she should of died... instead she had lived.

Still standing across from Halina, she lunged at her once more, aiming to knock her over, her teeth seeking out the femme's nape, tugging at her skin gently. If she succeeded and the femme landed on her side or back, Halina's tongue would next slip out, running up the mandibular line until it curled around and then into her audette. "Are you hungry too, gorgeous?"
