PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

so let's get high here in the moonlight

STRACK
The mare's gaze is immediately scathing and the stallion retreats a few steps so that he may seem less imposing. He watches with dark eyes how she turns to the filly (who has, notably, mentioned capturing him) and talks to her in a hushed tone. It's the mark of a good ruler, the way she speaks to him when she finally turns her standoffish gaze back to Strack. There were many rulers who would have chased him out with no regard for the way it would effect the child. Nevertheless, she is still cold to the mottled stallion, and he understands entirely that is it an acceptable reaction for her to have.

He raises his head so that he stands more comfortably, his legs numb up to his knees from standing in the unpacked snow that the draft mare hadn't reached in her invisible war. "I'm sorry for intruding. I will find my way out," he pauses momentarily before realizing she had asked for a reason why he had wandered to their mountain without permission, "Adelheid spoke great things of your Peak. Perhaps it was still in my mind when I began my wandering." He watches the pair closely, unsure of whether or not he should turn and leave or stay so that the mare may scold him a bit more.

He shifts awkwardly, eyes roving the immediate area for Adelheid before deciding to turn on his hinds and prepare to exit the Peak.
