Perhaps changed most of all out of all of the packs is this place. It was stripped out of its forested home and now instead lays at the edge of an ocean. The vast sparkling eternity of the water lays to the south of the land, while the rest of the land is made of rocky outjuttings. Gone are the trees, and all that remains for greenery are the short shrubs that dot the paths in the rock, and the moss that grows thanks to the spray of the waves. Further toward the shore, barnacles are a plenty, and look to cut the pads of those who slip on the wet surface. These extend out into the water itself, and the tough land has multiple caverns scraped into it, providing ample dens for the wolves that live there. Depending on the tide, however, the lower caverns may flood, and the vicious swirling water may prove to be dangerous as there is a strong undertide ready to pull unsuspecting swimmers to their doom. Even the tide itself is powerful enough to push intruders against one cliff or another. The ocean does provide, however, plenty of food for those who brave the waters - there are many breeds of seals and sea lions, though the males that protect each of these are vicious and territorial. There are also turtles that come ashore to breed and to lay their eggs - both the adults and the eggs themselves can provide sustenance to the wolves. But they must take care - the water is deep enough to allow sharks to come to shore from the depths below. Those unwilling to venture the waves or wet their paws with the moist sand of the shore can find snakes and hares in the rocky outcroppings, but they must beware the Komodo dragon and other monitor lizards that perch upon the shore - they are swift and move in groups, not to mention they carry venom in their bite that causes immense pain, paralysis, and prevents blood clotting. This is not the land for the weak of heart or the weak at all really. This is Uyaraut - ‘The Diamond in the Rough’.

I Want a Flood; I Want an Ocean

I Want a Flood; I Want an Ocean, to Wash my Confusion Clean

The brute had reached out with his plume towards the femme that was trusting him enough to tell him about her life and what had happened to her and her family. He wished it wasn’t such a sad story, she didn’t deserve that, and he wanted to do anything he could to make her feel better. He had not been coddled when he was young, and he was not used to being touched and touching others, but there was still something that made him reach out with his banner to show his support. He felt her squirm when he did so, and he quickly pulled his plume away, but did not put space between them. He hoped he hadn’t moved too quickly and made her too uncomfortable. When he told her that he would like to go to Bright Moon with her, she returned his answer with a whine of relief, and he smiled at her.

"I was afraid you would say no, and I would also like that as long as I could stay with you." Her darker coat snuggled into him, and he easily wrapped his bodice around her own, giving her an affectionate lick. ”I could never say no to you.” Even though he had not known her long, it felt right, and that was all that mattered to him. The pair stayed like that, enjoying each other’s embrace peacefully before she interrupted his thoughts with a playful nip. He returned it with his own playful growl, teeth gently pulling at her nape affectionately. "What are you waiting for? Let's go!" She quickly bounded off down the cliff, and he dutifully followed her towards the pack, and hopefully his new home. The pair didn’t speak as they traveled, Karla looking back occasionally with her pretty brown orbs to make sure he was following, which of course he was. Her plume was wagging behind her, and a smile was on Aimery’s features.

The pair arrived at Bright Moon, and then Aimery got anxious. The scent of Abendrot was still on his pelt, and he knew the history that the two packs had, and it was not a good one. He was afraid that the alpha here would not accept him because of that. The only experience he had in a pack was with Abendrot, and it had not been an entirely pleasant one for him. He knew his mother and brother were happy there, but he never felt like he really belonged there. The wolves that resided there were too aggressive, too quick to anger, too ready to fight. And that was not what he was like. He was distracted when Karla spoke, "Here we are. What do you want to do?" The snow white brute shuffled his paws awkwardly, unsure of what to say. A thought crossed his mind then. What was he with Karla? Were they friends? He didn’t think he could be only friends with her, he felt an attraction towards her that he had never felt before, and he didn’t know what to make of that. He was afraid to voice his thoughts and be rejected by her, knowing he would leave if that was the case. ”Um…shouldn’t we find the alpha? And what are you going to tell him about me…” His green orbs anxiously looked towards her brown ones, hoping for some reassurance from the pretty black ess.

OOC: maybe Karla could call for Summer and he’ll come in with my next post. Also Aimery might be too shy to ask her to be his official mate so she could ask him by saying that’s what she could introduce him to Summer as her mate, but if you’d prefer him to ask he can suck it up and do it =) just let me know
