The black femme had a small quiver of doubt run through her before she offered to go out with Damien and Pierce. She could no longer think only of herself, but now she had to think of two pups that she had recently adopted. No part of her regretted adopting them, but now she had to decide to do what was best for her pack, or what was best for her family. It was a decision that she had never been forced to make before, and it was not an easy one. When she thought about it though she wanted her pups to see her not only as their adopted mother, but also as a role model. The femme had always been proud of the dedication that she had put into the pack that she called her home, and she wanted her pups to understand how important pack was. And this pack had been her family for a long time, and it wasn’t exactly divided into her pack and her family, they meshed together. And right now her pack, her family, needed her.

That did not mean that she would not think of Vita and Mortem and what was best for them. They had just lost their biological parents and they did not need anymore tragedy in their lives, and she would make sure that she would come back to Aurora for them. Her yellow orbs met Kal’s blue ones as she silently begged him to do whatever would be necessary to watch over them, knowing that he was more than capable of doing so. He gave her a nod and whispered back for just her ears, "Of course I will watch over them, Chenzii, you do not need to worry about that. And... do not mention where you are going to Hellene if you see her on the way. Should you need reinforcements I will tell her and I'm sure she will be the first in line to come to your rescue. It is just... after what happened with Khaleesi, I am sure she would blow your cover with her not too subtle ways." A low growl formed in Chrenzii’s throat at the mention of what the prince of Malignant had done a while back, and understanding where Kal was coming from. Hellene could be rash and quick to anger, if she heard of an opportunity to go to Malignant and get revenge, she might not think clearly and end up getting hurt. ”Of course. Thank you.” She gave him a quick smile before turning her attention back to the Spring Ground’s wolves.

The silver alpha addressed the vargs in his presence before turning back to the trees and heading back into Aurora’s territory. "Very well. Pierce, it is nice to meet you although it could have been under better conditions. Chenzii shall be going with you, though I charge you with taking care of her as she will take care of you. There are some who rely on her here." Pierce spoke up next before the trio headed out, “It would only be proper and my pleasure. Unless you have anything further to tie up before we leave, I would suggest we head out now, Chenzii.” Her yellow orbs glanced back to her friend one last time before following the other two vargs towards something that would determine if war broke out or not. As the group padded through the trees, the black female was curious about exactly what had happened, and why a wolf from Malignant would go out and try to kill a varg from Spring Grounds. She was not sure if the two packs had some sort of discord with each other or not as some packs did, but that was no reason for such brutal acts. But then again, this pack was known for brutalities like that. She watched the two companions she was following, wanting to get to know them as best she could from observations. It seemed that Damian was angry, and he had every right to be, but she hoped he could still be diplomatic despite his rage. If not it could get them hurt. Pierce didn’t seem to be going off of pure anger as Damian, but maybe he was not as directly involved as the alpha.

The trio didn’t speak as they journeyed through the trees. Normally Chenzii was the talkative type, but today was about business, and she was thankful for the silence so she could focus on the task at hand. The stench of the pack became strong as they neared the border, and her face scrunched up at the sharp stench of blood. She had never traveled to this pack before, and she hoped she didn’t have to come back here in the near future. She met Pierce’s gaze, and he motioned for her to stop and wait in the background as backup for Damian if need be. Pierce’s white pelt stood out like smoke, but Chenzii’s black pelt blended into the darkness easily and she was almost invisible but for her yellow orbs. Damian called out for the alpha, and then they played the waiting game.

“Testing my Reply”
"We were never meant to last," She whispers.
