The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

All That I See, Absolute Horror

_________________________________________________________________________

The multi-hued female spoke brutally and honestly about the pack that she was a part of, and now the pack that Mabbit was a part of. She knew that the vargs that resided within were ruthless and often brutal, but that was not a secret. Most lupines in Blossom knew the unique reputation that Abendrot had, and she was not sure if she was proud of that reputation or ashamed. Sometimes she liked the reputation, knowing that some wolves would run from her when they caught the scent of Kershov and Scarlet Nights on her pelt. But then there was a part of her that questioned the way things were done. She had been forced to flee her home because of torture and murder and abuse, and then she had come to a pack that did the same thing. She told herself that they were not as bad as the pack she was born into, and that was indeed true. But sometimes she wondered if there were better ways to go about doing things. After Azula addressed Mabbit he didn’t speak, but just dismissed her words with a shrug of his shoulders. She took no offence to the silence, never caring much about what others thought of her or how the acted around her.

The subject changed after a few moments, and his listeners perked up as his ruby orbs met her light green ones as he gaped at her for a moment before speaking. She patiently looked on, waiting for him to be ready to talk and not pressuring him. "It was glorious . . . Everyone knew everyone . . . I suppose that was the issue. Secrets got out. War began. My brothers, father and I were sent as soldiers but . . ." His vocals cracked for a moment as he changed his gaze from meeting her to looking at his paws. Clearly this was hard for him to talk about, but the demoness had learned that nothing in life was easy, and the only thing that made life easier was accepting that. Her orbs continued to look on, watching him as he continued to speak. "They died that night. All of them. I was sent to scout and when I came back the ground was stained with blood. I went to return home but the grounds there were also covered in blood. They ambushed both, the troops and our home. The children weren't even spared. . ."

Neither spoke for a moment, and the female wondered what it was that he would want of her. Most would want sympathy and empathy at his words, to be told everything would be alright and to be embraced and held to make the pain go away. That was not how Azula operated, not even with her own kin. She was sorry that he had a hard past, but most did. The world was a cruel and evil place that relished in the torture of its own. Finally she spoke, her vocals sounding no different than before. ”I’m sorry that that happened to you and your family and pack. I’ve learned that the world is not an easy place to live in, and once you can accept that and understand that, it helps make things a little better. Most have a blood stained past, but it’s up to you if you let it stain your present and future.”
