Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

It is truly a wonder that Fjall has survived as long as she had. In truth, had her soul not found Magnus, she would likely be dead and fodder for the wolf Jaidah and her sick consort, Reaver. Rather, she is here in this moment flashing scars from them and the old ones from her childhood with a mother who was more than a bit savage. Promising to protect this light hearted female yet that promise inspires a courage within her that Fjall has thus far never shown for herself. It isn't safe yet to call her a friend but the possibility is there and honestly Fjall didn't really have any female friends. Jericho and Reich, they were both her friends but mainly they were her saviors. Magnus was her imprint and while he protected her and she felt something for him, she wasn't sure what else he classified as. Viora was just a scary addition to her imprint that she understood was necessity but didn't actually feel any fondness for (rather, more a fear of).

Her overlarge ears tip back as the girl tells her not to worry and she frowns gently at her. "Still, we must be vigilant!" She tries to impress this upon the girl all while her tail begins to wave back and forth as excitement seems to gather around them. What is this shiny thing that the girl speaks of? Could it be something Fjall has never seen before? Oh, she would love to see it and tell everyone about it. Then Fjall begins her spiel on Viora and Magnus and the pearls she had found and is rewarded with a kind smile that makes her own lips turn up in the sweetest of exultation's. "I cannot wait to show you," she says breathlessly, clearly joyous of knowing something that another does not - clearly not a common thing.

Ahorvi shows her the rocks suddenly with that sheen that makes them glimmer in the sun and Fjall's golden eyes round, even her lips attempt such a manner as she steps forward with a sigh of appreciation. She sniffs the stone, even goes so far as to lick it - cause, you can never tell if it might taste good, you know? - and beams at Ahorvi. "They are beautiful. I have never seen them before though so I don't know what they are." She chirps, sitting down and staring hard at the rock as Ahorvi begins to talk once more. Ahorvi is... inspiring in her words and Fjall's eyes lift to her with determination. "You are right. I will. I will try to find something I like and be the best at it I can. I think there is much more to do in Spirane than where I came from." She says with a finality in her voice, hope in her eyes.

"Maybe we find a few more and we can take them with us to the mountains, if you are going there that is?"
