Despoina knew she was aggravating the alpha. She knew she should have shown more respect towards the woman. Daenerys had proven herself in battle, and was beloved by her pack. It just happened that Despoina had not been impressed. By all logic, she should have bowed her head to the queen. But she simply couldn’t. She could not bow her head to someone she did not truly follow. It would have been a lie to them both. But the woman’s extended patience and kindness shamed the unruly teenager.

Though she did not submit, could not bow, she did look away and to the side in her shame. It warmed her heart to know she could come back, cross into the land to see Myra. So far with her sister was the one place she felt at home and at peace. To have that taken away from her, even if it meant trading it for a purpose, was more than she could stand. When she looked back at the queen her posture was far more subdued. A deeper understanding was starting to form in her mind.

“I will seek her out.” Before she turned away she hesitated on her paws for a moment and turned back to the Ruler of Spirane. “Thank you….Daenerys...for everything.” The words were clearly a struggle for her to speak. “And I’m sorry for… for me.” No other words, merely a blink of the slate eyes and she jumped from the cliff of the mountains to find her path.
