News 03.28.20

Get with me if you want to move up in rank. I'm going to change up the pack tasks for a little change of pace.

Congratulations to Adrian on her promotion to Governess. She will handle the guidance and teaching of our young pups in Iromar.

If you have a ^ next to your name, that means you're up for promotion so see me or send me a message on Discord so we can see where to move you. All others interested in specializing or getting a rank, let me know so we can figure out how to make that happen.

The pack board has been updated. If you wanted to remain a member, let me know either on here or Discord and I'll get you back on the board. Otherwise, let's have a thread!

I know I had a couple replies for the training with Spirane so I will be starting that thread soon. Stay tuned!

I am still working on an alliance with Diveen and Asteraia so stay tuned. If you have any information or would like to help, please let me know. If anyone has any ideas to promote activity within the pack, also, let me know. I am open for plots and such! Meanwhile, thank you all for your continued support of the pack.

Malum
WITH BUSHELS OF BAD HABITS;;

Cries of innocence and false accusations fly from his tongue the moment I had turned him back toward the moorland. I dared not speak directly to him for it would only cause my anger to flare up even more so. His pleas and attempts at convincing me otherwise were not working well for him and as soon as we moved into the territory I knew that I had not been mistaken. His scent, despite his efforts to mask it, were still detectable beneath all of the muck and grime he had covered himself in. Did he think us all to be defected, ignorant fools? It is not so easy to hide your own identity among wolves.

My threat to throw him to the dragons was a clear strike of fear into the boy’s chest as he cried once against toward both Avery and myself now. ”YOU DESERVE NOTHING,” it is spoken loudly, brimming upon a yell, in chords of coarse masculinity. My silver marked ears are lain back and my muzzle is contorting into a snarl as I lunge toward him, teeth snapping and chest puffing forward to bully him down. Pale eyes now flicker to Avery as I keep my position, her words drawing my attention away from the lowly bastard beneath me, and in return to her proposal I nod in agreement. ”Yes… I suppose she would gain something from witnessing his dismemberment,” I answer her as my hackles begin to relax into their place once again and I back away from the cur.

Despite my own smaller size, in comparison to many in Moladion, I am still larger so than this recreant thing before me. Confident now with Avery’s presence along with my own, I look to her as she addresses me once again, introducing herself formally. It is hardly the time for formalities and yet it is an interesting way to meet nonetheless. ”Malum,” I only offer her my name in return as my eyes switch back to Malignus, ensuring that he does not dare think of escaping back across the border. My attention does this every now and then, moving from the accused to Avery as she shifts her stance. She bears the demon marks of old, times in which I hardly remember due to my incident, yet the colors are stained into my brain all the same. It makes me wonder exactly who her blood comes from and I manage to keep the question stored away until a better time comes to ask of it.

My call for Aithne is seen to as rapidly as possible, being that she comes from the fog to my right. I angle my head to look at her, the expression on her face betraying exactly how infuriated she is at the circumstance. I do not foretell of what she is to do until the last moment, my own body moving out of her path and to keep upon Malignus’ opposite side as she comes charging in toward him. Unlike some others, I do not outwardly relish in the demolition of another in the midst of a fight, yet my heart thrums rapidly as the Moorland Queen tears at the yellow-bellied cad before us all.

When she is finished, her praise upon my deed is spoken immediately, and with a stern nod I accept it with silence. Her maliciousness is rightfully place and when she questions Avery on what it is that must be done, I glance toward the Commandant of Iromar with a knowing look in my eye. If she were to go back to my initial idea on what to do with the body of this wretched soul then I would be pleased, but perhaps she has another in mind. A deepened chuckle rolls through my throat as I look back to Avery with a rather wicked glint in my eyes. ”Perhaps he should get a taste of his own medicine,” It was a twisted thing to say and yet I did not think much of it, if only to scare what bit of resolve was left within the creature out of him.

My attention is broken as the odor of another wafts in upon the breeze and she quickly follows it from the cloudy depths of the bog. She is of similar colors to the Demon bloodline and yet she does not carry with her the scent of Iromar. She is an outsider, a loner, incapable of moving along pack territory without consequences. With Malignus secured by the watchfulness of Avery and Aithne, I move to address the girl with hackles flared and tail risen dominantly. She is a child, but children must be taught better, she will learn today one way or another. I press into her space, teeth bared and chest broadened as I attempt to push her back to where she had appeared from. ”Trespasser…” It is growled through a snapping of fangs and the flick of my tongue from between them. Iromar has been and always will be my home; its laws apply to any who pass through and I will defend them against delinquents like she and the rapist.

I keep her cornered as Raven appears and it is only the flicker of my ear that acknowledges her as she speaks. I am surprised that she has come on this day and the slightest bit of worry lingers in the back of my mind. She should not have come to see him, for her own good, but there is little I can do to persuade her otherwise. I only wished for Aithne and the others to do to him as they wanted in regards to his punishment, but never for Raven to have to see him once again. It is clear that her presence among us all is already being affected through the tones in her voice.

PACK RANKS

Monarch
Pretty simple, Alpha of Iromar. Ultimate authority. What I say, goes.
Chief
The 'Co-Alpha'. He is her equal and has all the same authorities as she does. He is be respected and can take challenges and block steals.
Deputy
The Beta of Iromar. The most trusted wolf under the Alpha. Has all the same authorities of the Monarch in her absence. Second in command. Can block steals and take challenges.
Council
The advisor to the Monarch. One who's wisdom is often sought in matters of politics and war. Not necessarily an elder but someone the Monarch looks up to.
Trooper
The head warrior of Iromar. Shows the most skill in combat and has experience to back it up. Trains the soldiers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Stalker
The head hunter of Iromar. Shows the most skill in hunting and providing for the pack. Tasked with leading pack hunts and teaching the pups of the pack at designated times. Trains the hunters and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Medic
The head healer of Iromar. Skilled in herbs and emergency medicine. Tasked with checking on the Monarch/Deputy after a challenge and also keeping up with mothers around birthing time. Trains the healers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Envoy
The head diplomat in Iromar. Skilled in matters of politics and conversation. Intelligent and witty, this wolf keeps the pack together as one while reaching out to potential allies for support. Council is their direct supervisor. Trains the diplomats and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Governess
The guardian of offspring in Iromar. Skilled as a warrior and alert as a scout, this wolf is tasked with probably one of the most important jobs in Iromar, protecting the future of the pack and Moladian. They can watch the litter while the parents are off doing tasks, hunting, or just enjoying some quiet time. Can serve as guides for the pups, like having a full time guardian. Trains the teachers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Snoop
The head spy in Iromar. Skilled in maneuverability and blending in, this wolf must be a shadow when called upon. Tasked with finding out information about other packs or wolves when called upon, this wolf must be quick as well as witty, able to make anyone believe anything. Also serves as a thief when the need arises. Trains the spies and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Chronicler
The head story teller of Iromar. This wolf has done their research on all things Iromar and Moladian. They can give a good history lesson or spin a tale on demand when the younger minds call for distraction. Able to captivate an audience. May even help with speeches for the Monarch when necessary. No one to train but the pups or even adults of Iromar when they have questions or curiosity about the past. This wolf may even be called upon by the Council at times. Can block steals.
Soothsayer
The seer of Iromar. This is a special rank made specifically for a wolf with "the sight." Consider her an advisor/spy of sorts for the alpha and rest of the pack. She/he can gather intel from outside or supernatural forces. You don't have to believe in the magic of this ability for any wolf with this rank will be respected as a ranked member of the pack. Can block steals.
Warriors- Members of the Iromar army. Skilled in combat and overseen by the Trooper.
Hunters- Providers for Iromar. Skilled in scavenging and hunting.
Healers- Doctors of Iromar. Skilled in herbs and emergency medicine for those in need.
Diplomats- Extroverts of Iromar. Skilled in politics and overall conversation.
Spies- Scouts and thieves of Iromar. Skilled in blending in and masking themselves when called upon.
Teachers- Guardians of the youth of Iromar. Skilled in defense and culture. They shape the young minds of the future.
Children-The pups of Iromar. To be cherished as they are precious for the future of the land. Shape them and mold them into something we can all be proud of.
Members- Overall pack members of Iromar. Not specialized in a particular field yet but just as important to the population.
