At the Pension Board meeting held Wednesday September 23 rd all went smoothly.
One thing that jumped out to me was that the accountant, Mr. Linker reported comparisons of now and last year and even though our investments are at a -4% ( minus four percent ) and will take more than 14% gain, to even gather a chance at a 13th check, ( by September 30, 2015 ) our plan is still in excellent shape .
He reported that the Attorney expenses were $50,000.00 ( Fifty Thousand ) lower than a year ago. This is great news to me.
Thanks should go to the Pension Office Staff for doing a great job.
Also Thanks should go to ALL of the Trustee's for doing a thankless job for all the Actives and Retirees.
Ronald Mullins and myself were the only attendees from our Association. There were only 10 attendees in all.
