wide awake in bed words in my brain
secretly you love this, do you even wanna go free?
It is truly not the fault of Tick Tock that Raven is gone. Aithne does not blame her despite the need to blame
somebody for the disappearance. Something had to be keeping her away and Aithne would track her down and whoever was holding her hostage. Then she would unleash hell, she thinks, for Raven was her Consul and her friend and she would do what was necessary. Unfortunately life had a different agenda. It had it's own whims and Aithne was not apart of it nor would she be at times. Things happened - how she hated such a statement because it was so accurate. Whatever reason Tick Tock had left Raven with the wolves in Iromar Aithne cannot fault her - her own mother had been a piece of trash but she hadn't tried to leave Aithne with someone who would care for her. She had simply stopped and left Aithne to fend for herself. Tick Tock had the sense to make sure Raven was cared for and besides, if she hadn't left her there then Aithne would never have become so close to her.
"You are right," she answers with a heaving sigh, pausing in her frantic movements. The frustration from the lack of results was the cause of it, not any misplaced anger. The conversation shifts then to a more political stand point. Alliances and what they would do for one another. Her attention sharpens upon the black she-wolf and she considers her proposal.
"I accept your terms. Iromar shall now call itself an ally of your plains kingdom." She nods once to seal the deal, readying herself to go back and let her members know what had happened. Better that she did so before an infraction occurred that she would have to bridge from lack of knowledge more than real malice.
Tick Tock's next words catch her attention wholly and she frowns.
"This wolf... I should like to speak with her soon if you would allow. I will not harm her for she is your prisoner, not mine. Has she committed a crime against you or merely irked you?" It was better to know why the female was here to better understand what she was capable of. And to wonder if she had killed Raven.
(We don't have to include Fiam in the thread if you want, I can just have Aithne go back to Iromar and Raven show up before she plans to go see her and she can figure out the details later >:D)
