Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Life had been so simple so far. She had not strayed too far from the home den, nor wandered too far from her mother. The days had been filled with play and exploration for her siblings and tussles that had scratches, nips, bumps, bruises, and stronger bonds between herself and her brothers and sister. As they grew bigger and the seasons changed, she started to go further and further from the mouth of the den, exploring where her nose took her. It excited her to pound around in the sand and roll with her siblings. She often made sure to get extra dirty to come home and shake it all off onto her mother.

As close to her siblings as she was, when her sister wandered off and later to the beach, Inanna happily followed, pink tongue hanging out of her white jaws. The silence that followed the other puppy was one she had become accustomed to and never really seemed to mind. Words were not always needed when one was paying attention. At first she watched Sif try to paw through the harder ground, and then followed her onto the softer beach. Happy as could be she followed, her tail wagging eagerly to see what her sister had in store. When Sif used the stick to draw into the dry sands, Inanna yipped happily and danced around the silent speaker. She was careful to keep away from the drawing, knowing they would be important. With a puppy grin she stopped her excited movements and sat next to Sif, ready to listen to the story, or be an active participant in the telling of it, if the speaker needed an actor.
