The water felt cold as Autumn was approaching. It was his first time seeing the leaves change colors and fall to the ground. The water lapped at the sides of his face and ears, relaxing him. He started to drift to sleep. Then he was awoke by the sounds of someone splashing in the water near him. He didn't even bother to open an eye until he was lifted from the water by the wolf. He let out a small yelp.

"Hey! What's the big idea?!" He was set down but refused to sit. Regardless of his size, the small white kalak raised his hackles at the wolf before him. Little ghost what are you doing out there? Are you looking to drown? Don't you know how to swim? And where are you parents? Don't they know better than to let their kids wonder on their own? These woods are dangerous. I could eat you if I felt so inclined.  So many questions. But he seemed almost worried before he spoke his last sentence.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you. I don't think I'd taste very good. I'm not normal." He spoke, his hackles still not falling. He wouldn't let his guard down. "I wasn't drowning, I was relaxing. My parents are busy with my six siblings. I decided to wonder on my own, I'm not that young. I don't need them to hold my paw everywhere I go." He said, miss matched eyes looking him up and down. "Who are you?"




"We're limitless tonight . . ."
