Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

TAKE ME INSIDE YOUR SOUL & MAKE IT WEEP FOR ME
Smooth mauve toned eyes pierce through the blowing mists of the sea breeze toward this stranger. Yet it was clear from his scent that he did belong here. Needless to say I am intrigued by his apparent need to display himself as the stone-faced brute of which he attempted only moments before.

The feeling of my brother shifting beside me distracts my young eyes for a moment before looking back to the brown boy as he introduces himself. ”Yes,” in response to his question on how terrible his act really had been. ”You should practice more. Maybe with me,” I pause for a moment before speaking again. ”I’m Nemesis and he is my brother…” I trail off so that Elohim may introduce himself as he pleases – or not.

My attention turns downward as the sand creature squirms beneath Elohim’s paw, only for my head to shoot back up as Luk rambles on again. ”You talk too much,” my voice spills out in an tone so even that it would be difficult to even tell if I was insulting him or not. A brow quirks upward momentarily after I had spoken. Before either of the boys could dare to disfigure the poor creature, I leaned down slowly with a twitching nose before snapping the largest claw between my front incisors. I ensured that it was secured and unable to grasp onto me in any such way before pulling it apart from its core. The limb wiggled a few moments between my teeth and when it finally died down, I readjusted it so that the entire length of the leg was horizontal to my jaws.

This would be my prize. Mine. Not theirs or anyone else’s who crosses my path. I stare at them both, back and forth, for a silent moment before finally settling into a seated position. I would not speak any further unless needed, for I would not let my prize slip from my clutches. Eerily I watch this Luk boy as his excitement grows for the kill.
