He is tensed up when the male gives him teeth for a greeting, but he does not flash any whites back at him. He knows he is allowed here by the grace of Aithne, and after a moment it does appear he is accepted well enough to allow his own form to fall slightly out of tension as he, too, guards the den from any intruders. Even if the other male had given him a threatening look, it was one of potential comfort if there is someone else to protect Raven and her...now child from those who may wish them harm. He simply offered a non-threatening look, as no words were to help further.

Aithne had been blocking the entrance as he sat guard. His ears flicker back, star-touched beauties listening to the faint voice of Raven and the gentle replies of Aithne and Malum. He knew this was to be a difficult situation. Even they knew, and happened to gather some sort of words as encouragement and comfort. He knew from his own dreams that this day was to come, and that this pup was to be considered a curse to Raven. He saw a dark future for the young one birthed from Raven- but perhaps he will attempt to bend fate so the pup is to have a decent life. It was nice that the others were so encouraging.

As Aithne pulls out of then and looks at him, their eyes lock. His opal eyes widen as he feels the stare of the Alphess here. She was nothing like the other leaders he had met. She did not hold herself as softly as Isola did. Aithne's commands could be told with a single glimmer in her eye. He nods quickly, shooting a glance at Malum and back to Aithne. He did not feel as if the male would be pleased with him entering the den, but regardless, he stepped forward.

His dark head peeks into the den, with the small rays of light falling into the world. He hoped that the feathers he brought would help keep them comfortable. He offers a smile to Raven as he falls to his belly at the entrance. "Hello Raven, and hello little Jinx," he said softly, his opal eyes falling towards the young one at her belly. He came from a very large family. It was natural for him to have a soft spot for children in some sense. He scoots on his belly further into the den, being wary of if Raven gives him signs that she does not want him there. He knew during the birth and the time after mothers could be very...unhappy with someone being in their den, even their mates, and they were...they were not defined in any sort. He scoots in until he is about nose to nose with Raven.

"Even if you do not feel connected to her, she will be taken care of. I get the feeling the wolves of Iromar are always willing to help. And if you ever need me to help, I will be here if you want it," he says softly, his dark muzzle reaching out to Raven's if she does accept, as a gesture of comfort. He knew Iromar would take care of their young, but he also knew that he had family that would adopt a pup if even needed as well. It would not be the end for the young one...but what of Raven? What would help her the most? "Will you be okay?" he asks, concern reflected in his pupiless opals as he looks into her own violet eyes, feeling the pain that all this must be bringing her, and attempt to absorb it as his own.
