Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

To Take What I'm Owed

Tithe
To take what I'm owed.
Pay me my dues.

Attentive ears were trained on the woman as she spoke, though he remained silent. His mind poked around at the concept she was spelling out for him. Drawing ties and connections on how best to serve all those he had now sworn his services to. Loyalty and honor ran deep in the bones of the young man, his word was his bond, though his youth could doubtless cause him to trip along the way.

It did not surprise him when she spoke of a growing number of wolves who rallied to her cause. There were still stories of natural instinct, the drive to truly protect those of your own which existed in the mind of wolves. To double that, perhaps there still was a code amongst others to protect the innocent. There were none more innocent than a child who had yet to live. Even a child whose only crime was to exist. A child like Tithe had been.

One ear flicked at her when she asked her question of his Queen and he shook his head. “As of this moment, your alliance is with me, not with my pack.” There was a brief second of pause while he thought fast. “You are absolutely correct about the mindset and motives of these wolves. I fear Tobias and his imprint would not hesitate to attack anyone who came against them. They are strong and they are deadly, I will not bring war and death to the doors of the innocent. That includes other packs of Moladion. I do not know how Daenerys would take bringing stolen pups into her home. It would bring a danger to the mountains. I will ask her though, and find you to pass on her words.” An idea came to mind and he actually blinked in surprise at it. What better way to hide a stolen puppy than with someone who does not stand still? At the thought of his best friend a pleasant smile grew on his face. “I know of a wolf, a gypsy girl, whose soul is one of the kindest I’ve met. If my queen does not open the doors of Spirane to these pups, or to the other victims of Tobias’ violence, the gypsy will. Housing them with the unallied, but the willing and protective, saves others from being caught up in a fight that is not theirs.” He looked at her with his solid grey eyes, the heartfelt kindness and desire to defend the defenceless clear in their depths. “Perhaps you can talk with her anyway. See what she can do to help you.”
