There is beauty in different things and the saying that it is in the eye of the beholder was very apt. While some could not see past the swampy side of Iromar into the more lush side, the moorlands with their acidic soil or the marshy areas that appeared like any other piece of land except the water that hid at the base of the grasses. Aithne loved it here. The wicked, wild, beautiful land that Iromar was. It had dangers exclusive to it's placement but didn't all packs? Spirane had the magnificent heights and the harrowing falls. Diveen had cliffs and canyons that could swallow a wolf and leave nothing but a piece of fur behind as proof. Glorall had it's gushing rivers and ocean - Asteraia, well, prairie dogs?? And the forest, well, bears lurked there. Her dangers were just more of the villified ones - snakes and gators and all things that lurk in the murk.

Kairos is clever in her approach, lowering herself in a position that instinctively pleases Aithne for she is of a dominant nature even if she does not often assert it to the point of aggressiveness. The idea of gods will likely remain a topic for debate but Aithne would put it to a vote with her wolves and if none of them valued religion, well, it wouldn't do to even instate such a rank in the pack. In likelihood it could cause a fission within the loyalty that remained so firmly vested in Aithne and in this she must remain vigilant. While she is no goddess nor is she all powerful, she had to think about the best for the pack. A pack that disliked the decision she made for no other reason than to make one, well, it could bode ill for her in the future. Careful - each step must be careful and maneuvered.

She is not pushy. She exclaims how Aithne must do what is right by her and the Empress smiles only faintly at the girl. Where she had come from who knew but it was a shame, to Aithne at least, that Kairos did not find herself a pack in which she could ascend the ranks. Not that the Empress would let the girl know this, in either words or visage, keeping a relatively pleasant demeanor on her face as she listened to the yearling. "You have much to teach us, I am sure, but I must decide whether they are ready to listen. Even if things do not go in the favor you desire, Kairos, it is a thing that can be changed in the future. While you are the herald of the gods, I am the herald of my people for I can topple and my kingdom's well being is all that I aspire to."

"I understand," she says, looking down at the shiny eye of the God's, as Kairos thought of it. "You will have your answer by then. Take care of yourself, Kairos, and may your gods be on your side." It was a dismissal as well as concern, for she is but a yearling alone in the world but it was her choice. Aithne leans down now to grab the God's eye between her teeth carefully, glancing at the girl one more time before moving back into the territory to begin her conversation with her members.
