It seemed that he had no choice but to turn his ears and eyes to the wilderness beyond Taviora's borders. It had been an unexpected sound, one that shocked him and forced him to be crouched into the snow once more. It seemed like a sound he ought to know and yet, it seemed warped by something else - an unusual cry, neither pain nor summoning. It was a sound heavy in its vacancy. He remained low to the earth as his eyes fell upon the emitter of such a cry; she had been large, so very much so, and as dark as the night. Yet, a burst of vivid crimson and gold radiated across her chest. It was as if fire had stirred in the night, trapped in a still moment now. Truly, he had fallen into an awe of sorts, lured in by the disheveled nature that clung to her. He'd never seen anybody like it.
His eyes had locked onto hers, drawn in by the darkness of her pupils. They seemed to consume the swirls of colours that constructed her iris. His ear flickered as she begun to scan over him, his own eyes curious enough to roam the darkened form that now stood so close to him. He hadn't any clue what to expect. He simply remained as he was, though he had taken to relaxing somewhat. She did not feel... aggressive, or dangerous. In fact, she didn't feel like anybody else at all. Never had he experienced a vibe quite like hers. It was captivating.
When she spoke, he had no choice but to meet her eyes. He focused long and hard on her - on her words - before he merely issued a curious nod, his body shaking away the snow as he begun to rise. Her words had been strange, and he had no clue on what she spoke of. Yet, they felt right. He had felt cold inside. Freezing, barren, all kinds of wrong. For whatever reason, he wanted to believe that this woman had some kind of answer to that. Or some kind of cure.
"Warm me," he issued his words quietly.
He stepped after her, head tilted as she bowed and flopped about, seemingly amused by her own tactics. He had felt the inkling of a smile and yet, his muscles felt too tired to perform the action. Instead, he continued to watch, his tail having issued several brief waves of encouragement. Or, at least, he hoped it'd encourage her. She had answers. He wanted them. He wanted to be fixed by anybody, by anything.
"Please."
One last hopeful plea as he ambled towards her once more, seeking to bride the distance and meet her somewhere better. Here or there. It didn't matter. She had captivated him and now, he wanted to know what it was like to melt.
