Progress made in Laca court

A big meeting was held today at the location of the new proposed Laca court - and within a couple days or so, NJAA officials expect some positive news on getting the court finally built.

The NJAA needs about 24 feet of the neighbors property in sections along the side wall. The new neighbor owns 10 acres of undeveloped waterfront property and needs footage belonging to Laca to build the an access road she plans to build.

Today, the surveyors, the neighbor, the home builder, and NJAA's court engineer Anthony Sutton met to discuss exactly what each side needed in property. The surveyors did their work on the property after acquiring the courts new design plans. The info will now be plotted to determine if all the plans are feasible in a tradeoff of the properties. A decision is expected soon.

Plans now call for an 111' long court (outside dimensions) and a 32' wide court - including the out of bounds area.
