I heard him. I almost turned my head to see if it was me he was hollering at, but I know it was. I kept moving towards the water, stopping only when I reached the edge of the falls. I take a quick glance, feigning interest. Damnit. His coat is different, very different. I'm a little shallow and I like pretty things, okay? And I happen to be a huge fan of the exotic. And this guy... Well, I've never seen a coat like his before and now I'm interested. Damnit.
I turn, plastering a huge, fake smile to my face, laying on a thin layer of sarcasm. LIke I said, I can't seem to interested. I've never seen anyone who looked like him before though and I can't help but to stare, though I try not to make it obvious. I toss my black forelock out of my eyes and nod in his direction, downgrading the huge smile to something a little more demure.
