I am well aware I am going against popular public opinion but I am not upset about that student being taken down by the school cop.
She had refused to obey the rules in class, refused to give up her phone, was disruptive and belligerent, disrupting the class, forcing them to call for additional help.
All I can see is the natural consequences of negative behavior. Something many of today's kids do not seem get.
Perhaps the cops behavior was out of line as well and I can't speak to any past allegations he might have from the past, but I do believe that both he and the teen will have to suffer the consequences of their behavior , and I think it's about time.
