Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She seems to be watching me intently, her one eyed gaze sweeping over my features in a way that makes me almost nervous. I fight back the feeling, only wanting to grow more confident in the words I speak. She smiles and I feel myself relax again, hoping that means that the conversation is going rather well. I bow my head in understanding as she responds. "Then your time would be well spent in Eden's company for he doesn't seek submissives in this pack. He only wants loyalty and wolves willing to fight for something they believe in. You seem to have an abundance of both traits so what would he have to lose? Your dream is not meant to be vanquished but perhaps some time in safety to let yourself recover would be wise." I soften my words at the end, not wanting her think I'm trying to talk her out of fighting anymore or anything like that. I simply ask her to think about giving her body a rest, if only for a little while.

She seems thoughtful for a moment before telling me that she's not quite ready to stop fighting yet. I listen carefully and offer a smile of assurance before I answer. "Yes, we do. I know a little bit from my brother but I'm sure I can round up some others to be on stand by if they are needed. If you do find yourself with victory, think of us as you mount your throne. I'm sure Eden would be honored to have a compromise with you, whether in sanctuary or alliance." I take a step back, knowing the time to talk is slowly coming to an end. At least I know that Jaidah does not think of us as enemies and I'm sure Eden will be glad to hear that.

"Let me know when you are ready to talk and I'll make sure Eden is there. Until we meet again, fair Jaidah." Inclining my head to her respectfully, I turn to dismiss myself, allowing her time to go about readying herself for another fight so I can report my findings to Covet.
