Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

not all those who wander are lost

With having at last reunited with two of her dearest siblings, Isolde is content to roam across the land that is Moladion. Since last being here, the knightly girl has grown well into herself, bright and young intelligence quite apparent in her dual toned gaze. She is eager for her cream and orange russet paws to carry her strapping young frame wherever it was that she may. The almost fully grown wolf would not be leaving these lands again, but that did not mean she could not explore them. Her brother and sister were safe and sound in Diveen, and Isolde was comfortable with leaving them in capable paws there. Beside, she would always have her skills and knowledge to work and improve upon, to become better and better as what it was she did best.

The scents of many wolves grabs her attention, and though she is confident and sure of herself, there is still caution in her as she moves closer to the scents. She had been born in a pack and spent a lot of her time around other wolves, but she had also spent much time on her own and only with one other. Her sharp senses could easily tell this was no mere small and coincidental meeting of souls. This was the hand of Fate placing them all in one spot, so that their very souls could intermingle and seek one another out. Fate was a concept Isolde knew well, for her Mother and Father were both chosen for one another. She and all of her siblings, beside Aurai, had been born of that very bond, and that in turn had made them chosen. It did not matter that Aurai was not blood, however- she was part of their family and chosen as was everyone else.

Isolde would not call herself special, but she would use the word different. Always has she felt different, felt other when it came to those of her kind. Most often, they were selfish and arrogant and did not care for the thoughts, feelings, and well being of others. It was a strange concept, to be so closed off and uncaring. It was everything that she was not, and it showed in her eyes as chocolate brown and the brightest teal finally come across the gathering of wolves. Dark pelts seem to be at the center of attention, but what instead captures her vision are two wolves off to the side. There is a young white and red boy, perhaps a year younger than her, and there is a slightly older black and wonderfully grey and gold female. The stranger could be maybe a year older than Isolde, which would put herself right in the middle of these two. And there seemed to be a bit of conflict- the older female questioning the young boy as he seemed to have eyes for another.

A lovers quarrel? But the female did not seem to know the boy, calling him kid and looking at him suspiciously. When Isolde could see his expression clearly after coming closer, she could understand why. There was a hungry predator gleam in those green and blue eyes, and it was more than enough to bring her russet hackles up to a stand point. Their posture allowed the charcoal, chocolate and cinnamon flecks and specks to be seen in vivid contrast to the rest of her bright self. Her typically warm and caring eyes are intense and focused on the male, for any sort of movement he could care to give toward the one he watched or the female that spoke to him. Either way, Isolde would not be taking her eyes off the young wolf until he moved on and away or she was sure he would not be harming any one this day. When she finally comes to a stand beside the older female, shoulder to shoulder though not too close, she too decides to speak to him.

"I wouldn't move from there, if I were you." Isolde gives no threat in her words, but a rather plain and simple warning. It would be unwise of him to move anywhere else other than the way he came, and the same stern expression that the wolf beside her wears is also within her bright eyes. The young knight does not think the wolf beside her needs any help, but it is simply her nature that drives her in these moments. A want and desire to protect those weaker and those unable to defend themselves. Isolde could both see and sense the nervousness of the all white female nearer to the main body of other wolves, and she would do everything in her power to protect her and keep her safe. Such is the mindset and personality of the last born daughter of Iblis, who while taking physically so well after her dear Mother, is a striking combination of two of the purest souls.
