If she was nervous at the first of her realisation then certainly those nerves only sought to increase when she spotted a white wolf in the distance. They were good nerves this time, however, in the hope that she would be spotted and taken home to her mother, where she could have a small cry and go to sleep warm. However, those hopes were beginning to fade as the other wolf kept on going, seemingly oblivious to the small girl staring up at her like some hopeless fawn. As soon as she thought the adult was gone, she is quick to turn inwards onto herself once more. She curls, then, into a small ball, her muzzle pressed into her tail and her ears back as she takes it upon herself to sob pitifully. They are quiet huffs of sadness in between laboured breaths as her tiny body trembles with nerves and uncertainty. What is she supposed to do? Would her mother even hear her if she called out? She was not exactly the strongest howler...
Then, she jumps, a sudden explosion of energy before she crumbles into herself once more. She was not expecting the stranger to appear once more so suddenly, shouting as she charged forward. At first, Sila was intending to charge forward too, suddenly terrified of some incoming threat and yet, her legs trembled and forced her onto her belly in fear. A bear? Cougar? She knows so little and she can only cry once more, this time more loudly as she whimpers and trembles. She is, after all, so very afraid. There is too much fear in her blood.
And then, there is a sudden calmness as she feels the warm breath of another envelope her body. She feels the familiar sensation of strong teeth raking into her skin and fur, pulling up her scruff as she slowly rises into the air. She feels herself leave the ground and yet, she does not open her eyes. Instead, she only imagines the warm, loving face of her mother behind the teeth as she feels herself bounce along, air rushing passed her. Where she is going, she does not know; she does not even know who holds her so firmly as they charge onwards into the unknown. She knows only that she hopes they will smell the mountain soon and yet, her subconscious is aware that the smell of pine and stone is fast fading. Instead, it is beginning to be more and more grass, flowers - plains, though she does not know what such a thing is.
Eventually, however, her eyes must open and when they do, she is not met with anything familiar. The world around her is even more different and as is the wolf that holds her. She twists to see a pure white body, unlike any wolf she knows in Spirane. Yet, surprisingly even to her, she does not immediately return to trembling in fear. Instead, she begins to twist about and kick, her tiny teeth grating together as she lets out a tiny growl of frustration and defensiveness. She will do so for as long as possible or at least until she is let go. Then, she does not know what she will do. Continue being lost, she supposes, until hunger and the cold take her.
