Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Luk
(Three) (No Imprint) (No Mate) (Glorall)

A grin. It wasn’t much, but seeing Eden smile at him made the pup’s tail wag softly behind him. He felt he was finally achieving his goals and had made some kind of impression on the king of the sea. Ears perked up eagerly, Luk listened intently to his alpha. He thought a moment about what he had said. ”I believe any wolf would become violent when force is used. It’s how we work, isn’t it?” A cornered wolf would always fight back. Always.

He pondered a moment and shook his head. ”No. If I were to meet Solaris again, I feel he would be more wary of me. He may not think of me as a threat, but he would definitely know I was up to something.” This thought process made him wonder if he would have to be more careful when he actually went to Taviora again to really visit his brothers and sister. Would they even let him back in their territory after his “assault” on their Peacekeeper? Eden didn’t give Luk much time to think about this. He had continued with his lesson and the younger boy was all ears once again.

Was this a test? The way he was looking at Luk made the boy believe the alpha was looking for something else in his answer. Not once did he see his mentor drop his guard, but that didn’t stop the pup from trying. He pretended to be thinking about a way to reply, but he was really looking at Eden for a small opening. When he thought he saw one, the tri-colored wolf took it. Without saying a thing, he leapt at Eden. He bulky frame prevented him from being a fast as a bolt of light, but it didn’t stop him from being as powerful as thunder.

He aimed a blow on Eden’s left rump. If he was successful, Luk would try to grasp a tuft of fur on his thick haunch. If he could just grab a few hairs, he would dart away from Eden before he could snap back. However, if Luk was unsuccessful, he would suffer whatever punishment or tongue lashing his leader could give him.
